Profit Soars 8-Fold in 2024, Delta Giri Wacana (DGWG) Targets Double-Digit Revenue and Net Income Growth in 2025 — Here’s the Strategy

April 8, 2025
Jakarta, April 8, 2025 – PT Delta Giri Wacana Tbk (ticker code: DGWG) announced its audited consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year 2024 today. The company reported stellar performance, recording a net profit of IDR 182 billion and operating revenue of IDR 3.4 trillion. This reflects an impressive 815% year-on-year growth in net profit.
Riding on this momentum, DGWG is setting its sights on achieving double-digit growth in both revenue and net income in 2025.
This strong performance was in line with management's projections, supported by a favorable planting season in 2024 following the end of the El Niño weather phenomenon, which helped boost demand for agrochemical products. Additionally, increasing customer loyalty toward DGWG's products contributed significantly to the company’s performance.
"Our 2024 performance growth was not solely driven by the end of the El Niño cycle but also by growing customer trust and loyalty in DGWG products," said David Yaory, President Director of DGWG.
Meanwhile, DGWG's Finance Director, Danny Jo Putra, explained that the company’s business is anchored by four strategic pillars within the agricultural input sector: agrochemical products, fertilizers, agricultural tools, and internal distribution.
"The primary revenue drivers in 2024 were the agrochemical and fertilizer segments, which made significant contributions to our overall sales performance," Danny stated.
Following this outstanding achievement, DGWG is preparing a number of expansion strategies to sustain business growth in the years ahead. One key initiative includes the commencement of operations at its carbamate (active agrochemical ingredient) plant, which is set to begin in Q2 2025. This facility is expected to serve both domestic and global markets.
"The market response to our carbamate business has been overwhelmingly positive. This was clearly reflected in the number of potential partners expressing interest in collaborating on the supply of both raw and semi-finished agrochemical ingredients during our participation in the 2025 Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition in Shanghai last March," David added.
