DGW Group Showcases Top Quality Corn Seeds and Other Agro Input Products at GERTEK 2025 in Kediri

August 1, 2025

Kediri, August 1, 2025 – PT Delta Giri Wacana Tbk (DGWG), together with its four business principals in the seed, pesticide, fertilizer, and agricultural tools segments, actively participated in the 2025 Agricultural Innovation and Technology Expo (GERTEK) held on July 29–31, 2025, in Blawe Village, Purwoasri District, Kediri Regency.

The event, organized by the Agriculture and Plantation Office of Kediri Regency, was attended by several key figures, including the Regent of Kediri and the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), representatives from the Purwoasri Sub-District Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), and the Agricultural Extension Center. The activity also received direct support from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, represented by the Director of Food Protection, Adi Praptono.

More than 2,400 farmers attended GERTEK 2025, with around 450 farmers actively visiting the DGWG booth to learn more about its featured products.

DGWG’s participation in GERTEK 2025 served a strategic purpose—namely to promote and demonstrate the performance of two superior corn seed varieties from ASA, one of DGWG’s subsidiaries: BOMBER and DAHSYAT. This was done through a 200-square-meter demonstration plot (demoplot), evenly divided between the two varieties (100 m² each), in a location carefully selected based on agronomic factors and distribution proximity. The demoplot focused on five strategic districts: Pare, Papar, Pagu, Plemahan, and Purwoasri—areas well-known as one of the largest corn-producing centers in East Java and often regarded as a national reference for corn farming.

DGWG’s three-day participation in GERTEK 2025 had a positive impact, notably in boosting brand visibility and corporate image, particularly for ASA as a provider of high-quality corn seeds proven effective in the field. It also facilitated the development of new business networks, especially with local agricultural distributors and retailers who have the potential to become long-term partners, and stimulated interest and sales at the farmer level, as trust in ASA products grew based on direct planting results from the demoplot.

Through active participation in initiatives like GERTEK 2025, DGWG reaffirms its commitment to supporting sustainable agriculture in Indonesia. With research, innovation, and a results-driven approach, ASA continues to drive increased farmer productivity and expand its positive impact across the national agricultural ecosystem.
