DGW Group Supports Food Security through Brebes Shallot Festival 2025

June 30, 2025

Brebes, June 27, 2025 – PT Delta Giri Wacana Tbk (DGWG), a leading provider of integrated agricultural solutions in Indonesia, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the agricultural sector and national food security by actively participating in the 2025 Brebes Shallot Festival.

This event marks a significant moment for Brebes Regency, Central Java, which is recognized as Indonesia’s primary production center for shallots. Shallots are a key national agricultural commodity and are considered a strategic inflation component that directly influences the country’s inflation calculations. Therefore, ensuring the continuity and optimal production of shallots is of national importance.

As a comprehensive agricultural supply company offering a wide range of products—including pesticides, fertilizers, farming equipment, and seeds—DGW Group (DGWG) played an important role in this festival. DGWG’s participation aimed to further introduce the superior benefits and quality of its products, which are designed to support farmers—especially shallot growers and other crop producers—in maximizing their yields.

“This year marks our second participation in the Brebes Shallot Festival. It’s a strategic event that brings together many key stakeholders, including agricultural policymakers from across Indonesia, farmers, and distributors of agricultural supply products,” said Bayu Pramudya, DGWG’s Group Distribution & Development Manager. “Beyond providing comprehensive information about our products and attractive sales programs, our involvement also serves as an excellent opportunity to strengthen our relationships with loyal customers in Central Java, particularly in Brebes Regency.”

For DGWG, Brebes is one of the company’s most strategic marketing areas, representing its largest distribution region in Central Java. The company currently partners with over 100 kiosks in the region to market its products. Through its booth and various activities involving the local community, DGWG further deepened its engagement with its loyal customer base.

In addition, the presence of government institutions from various regions opened up new collaboration opportunities, including within the Business-to-Government (B2G) market segment.

Through this participation, DGWG hopes to continue contributing to the advancement of Indonesian agriculture, particularly in the shallot sector, in support of long-term and sustainable national food security.
